Spend the day with us and play our full-size 9-hole golf course. No matter what you shoot, you will enjoy the scenic surroundings. Open Tuesday-Sunday starting at 8:00am.
Golf Scrambles & Tournaments
Enjoy some friendly competition and join a Golf Scramble at Wanee Lake! Golf Scrambles are organized every Tuesday and Thursday evening year-round. We also host several Golf Tournaments throughout the year. Follow our facebook page or call us for updates on future tournaments!
Clubhouse & Fire Ant Cafe

What Should We Do When We Arrive At The Campground?
- All guests and visitors must check-in at the main office upon arrival, and all guests must agree to and sign a copy of our terms & conditions. E-signature is encouraged in advance of arrival for a speedier check-in.
- If you are arriving after 5pm, please call ahead to receive your late arrival check-in instructions.
What Time Is Check-In?
- Check-in is at 3pm. Early check-ins cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us in advance to see if an early check-in may be available to you. If so, an early check-in fee of $10 per hour will apply.
- If you are arriving after 6pm, please call or email in advance to receive your late arrival check-in instructions.
What Time Is Check-Out?
- Please check-out no later than 11am.
- If you leave after check-out time, your account is subject to a late check-out fee of $30. If you do not vacate the premises by noon on your check-out day, we will charge your account for an additional night’s stay, and you may incur additional liability.

- Yes, quiet hours are from 10:00pm – 8:00am.
Can Friends Visit Our Campsite?
- While occupancy limits strictly apply to the occupants specified at the time of booking, guests can request to add additional day and overnight visitors, pending availability and payment of additional fees. The following guidelines apply:
- Day visitors must leave the park by 10:00pm.
- Guests of the park are responsible for the behavior of their visitors, and all visitors must adhere to the Campground rules at all times.
- Visitors are required to park their vehicles in designated parking areas.
Do You Allow Pets?
- Yes, Wanee Lake is pet-friendly and welcomes cats and dogs in both RV sites and certain lodging accommodations. A pet fee applies for lodging stays. Pets must be leashed when outside and cleaned up after. Please be sure your pet is current on their vaccinations. We also offer a fenced-in dog park onsite, perfect for letting your pup run and play off-leash in a safe environment.
Can We Have A Campfire At Our Site?
- Absolutely! Campfires are an essential part of the camping experience, offering a cozy ambiance for gathering, storytelling, and creating lasting memories. For safety reasons, it is imperative that campfires be contained within the designated fire ring at your site. In the event of a local fire ban due to weather conditions, we will inform campers of this temporary restriction. To make it convenient for our guests, we provide firewood for purchase at our camp store or office. Please refrain from bringing outside firewood onto the campground. Additionally, any damage to or removal of the fire ring from your site may result in a replacement fee.

Is The Golf Course Open To The Public?
- Yes, the golf course at Wanee Lake is open to the public. Whether you’re staying at the campground or visiting for the day, you’re welcome to play. The course is open Tuesday through Sunday, as well as on holidays like Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day, subject to maintenance days. The course is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Any maintenance closures will be announced in advance on our Wanee Lake facebook page.
Do I Need A Tee Time To Play Golf?

Tee times are highly recommended! You can make a tee time on our website by clicking here. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, so feel free to come by during open hours. Just check in at the clubhouse before heading out on the course.
Is The Pool Open?
- Yes, the pool at Wanee Lake is open year-round, subject to occasional maintenance days. There is no lifeguard on duty, and all guests must follow the posted pool hours. All campground guests are welcome to use the pool at no additional cost. Please note that we do not offer day passes for the pool. Pool access is reserved for overnight guests and local members who have signed up for a pool membership. We also have a kiddie pool for the little ones! There is no hot tub.
Can I Fish At Wanee Lake?
- Yes, cast a line into our private 7-acre spring fed lake! Fishing access is included for all overnight guests at no extra charge. Fishing day passes are available for purchase in our clubhouse for local visitors.
Is There A Campstore?
- Yes! The campstore doubles as a pro shop and clubhouse which offers snacks, drinks, beer, firewood, ice, and essentials for guests. You’ll also find basic golf items such as golf balls, gloves, shirts, hats, and sunglasses—perfect for enjoying our golf course.
Do You Have Food Options On-Site?
- The Fire Ant Cafe at Wanee Lake is located in clubhouse and serves made-to-order favorites for golfers and campers alike. The menu features burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, chicken fingers, fries & more! The Fire Ant Cafe is year-round with its full menu Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 5pm.
- The clubhouse also serves hot dogs, chips and snacks daily for a quick grab-and-go option!

- Weekly Discount: A Weekly Discount will automatically apply to any stay of 7 nights or more. No promo code required.
- Monthly Rates are available for RV sites. While you may book online, we recommend calling us directly to discuss availability and rates!
- AAA Members receive a discount of $5 per night on their first three nights using promo code AAA when booking online! Please bring your AAA member identification at the time of check-in.
