This formative experience ignited his lifelong passion for nature and laid the foundation for his commitment to preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of outdoor recreational properties. Andrew’s hobbies include hiking, golfing, fishing, tennis, nature photography, and landscaping, all of which allow him to immerse himself in the natural environments he works diligently to enhance.

Ben Cohen

Crystal Lester

Crescent Fish Camp

Born and raised a city girl, I have recently embraced a new chapter of my life as I transition to the peacefulness of lake living, I’ve mastered the art of loving plants, even if they don’t always reciprocate the sentiment. As a newbie to the camp life by the lake, I’m like a fish out of water—figuratively, of course – Balancing the art of managing a lake campground and performing back-breaking manual labor is like juggling flaming marshmallows—it requires finesse, resilience, and a high tolerance for hilarity. So, prepare for an adventure filled with laughter, quirky anecdotes, and the occasional well-intentioned chaos, as we navigate the campgrounds together!

Ronnie Waters

Wanee Lake

Hi my name is Ronnie Waters and I am the GM here at Wanee Lake. I was born and raised in Turner County and have lived here all my life. I am an avid golfer and fisherman and do both as often as I can. I love all sports, especially college and high school football. I love to meet new people and hear their life story and my position here at Wanee Lake enables me to do just that. The outdoors is my passion and I love to marvel at all God’s creations. I am looking forward to meeting you here at Wanee Lake and hearing your life story.

Susan McKissick

I never thought I would leave the beach, but working here has allowed me to be outdoors, live by a river and share my love of the outdoors with others who share the same passion! I can’t wait to meet you in the great outdoors at Wilderness Cove and help you make the most of your adventure!
